Raw Hazelnut Cookie
Ingredients
Biscuit
2 cups dates
1.5 cups hazelnuts
1 cup cacao powder
1/2 cup almond meal
2 tbsp hot water
Date caramel topping
1 cup dates
2 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp hot water
Directions
1. Place hazelnuts, almond meal and cacao powder into food processor and blend until fine or desired consistency
2.Add dates and blend
3. Add hot water and mix with hands until rolling consistency
4. Roll into balls and set aside
Date Caramel
1. Place dates and maple syrup into food processor and blend until combined adding water depending on consistency
2. Using a teaspoon place date caramel on cookies and top with a hazelnut or any nut of your choice!
